Every simulator quote is different, and not for the reason people expect. The launch monitor gets all the attention. The room decides most of the budget.
Five things move the number.
The room you already have. A basement with ceiling height, power, and a level floor is a different project than a garage that needs insulation, climate control, and a subfloor before anything gets installed. This is usually the largest single variable, and it has nothing to do with equipment.
How you capture the ball. Floor-mounted or ceiling-mounted, and how much club data you want alongside ball data. Overhead systems keep the floor clear and change what the room has to accommodate.
Screen and enclosure. Impact rating, screen size, and how the surround is finished. A screen built to take a 250 mph drive is not the same product as one built for a wedge.
Projection. Throw distance dictates the projector, and in a shorter room that's a meaningful share of the budget. Getting this wrong is expensive to fix later.
How much system it is. A bay that only plays golf is one thing. A bay that's also a media room — lighting scenes, audio, seating, control — is another.
We quote equipment, buildout, and commissioning as one number. No line-item surprises after the fact, and no discovering at the end that the room work wasn't included.
