In Depth

Protection without the lock-in.

Most security companies sell the hardware cheap and trap you in a three-to-five year monitoring contract. We don't. You own the equipment, and monitoring is month-to-month — earned every month, never enforced by a signature.

With monitoring enabled, a UL-listed central station watches the home 24/7, with police, fire, and medical dispatch on verified alarms. 4K IP cameras and an on-site NVR keep weeks of footage, reviewable from your phone. Smart locks, video doorbells, glass-break, door, window, and motion sensors all report into one app — the same one that runs your lighting and climate — or, if you prefer a standalone security option, we have you covered. When you arm the house at night, the lights, shades, and locks all settle into their evening state together. Security isn't a box bolted on at the end — it can anchor the whole system, or stand alone from the first walkthrough.

Questions

Questions we get.

Do I have to sign a long-term monitoring contract?

No. Professional 24/7 monitoring is available as an option, and there’s no multi-year agreement to sign. If you’d rather self-monitor, the system works that way too.

Can I keep my existing cameras or alarm panel?

Sometimes. It depends on the equipment and how it was installed. We’ll assess what’s there before recommending replacement — reusing what works is usually cheaper and faster.

How many cameras does a house actually need?

Fewer than most people are sold. Coverage is about angles and approach paths, not camera count. We plan around entry points, driveways, and sightlines rather than a per-room number.

Does the security system work with the rest of the home automation?

Yes. Surveillance, access control, and intrusion sensors integrate into the same system as lighting, audio, and video — or run entirely on their own if that’s what you want.

Are you a licensed alarm company in Oklahoma?

Yes. EchoHaus Technologies holds Oklahoma alarm license #AC441241, issued by the Oklahoma Department of Labor.
